Identity and Access Management IAM Engineer

Coinflip is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineer with preferred an AWS DevOps background and hands-on experience with AWS Cognito. The IAM engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining identity and access management systems for our cloud based applications and services. This role will require a deep understanding of IAM tools and authentication/authorization security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy and maintain IAM solutions to manage internal and external user access to our cloud based applications and services
• Develop, implement and maintain automated IAM workflows and processes using e.g., AWS Cognito, Azure AD, MS Entra
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with other in-house developed platforms and solutions
• Collaborate with the security monitoring team to monitor and analyze IAM metrics and logs to identify security issues
• Provide technical expertise and support to mobile and web development teams to ensure that IAM requirements are met during the development process
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in IAM technologies and risks and recommend changes to improve our IAM solutions
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information technology or related field
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or IAM engineering roles
• Strong experience with AWS security best practices, including IAM, KMS and Cloudtrail
• Hands on experience with AWS Cognito, including user authentication, authorization and security flows
• Extra bonus – hands one experience with Azure AD and MS Entra
• Experience with automation tools, such as Terraform
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
