PMO Intern

The PMO Intern will perform largely project-based tasks to benefit the PMO team. This position is responsible for helping with data entry and management, completing research projects, and reconciliation. As part of the Project Management Office reporting into the Director of PMO you will apply best practices, continuously think about how we can improve our technical and engineering project delivery and work closely with our internal technical teams to ensure that we are delivering software to the expected time, quality and budget.  

Assists with the PMO rollout, promotion, training, and change management to ensure successful adoption of new PMO tools and processes. Works with Project Managers, Project Teams, and Functional Managers from across the business unit, with some cross-functional collaboration, as well as working with the PPM Tool Monday.com . 

Responsibilities:

• Assist PMO project managers in the co-ordination of project work  
• Assist with coordinating the onboarding of projects into the PPM tool. 
• Assist with the refinement of training materials and a PMO playbook. 
• Take ownership of small project deliveries applying appropriate project control techniques 
• Develop, send, and report PMO Customer Satisfaction scores 
• Create PPM Reports and dashboards in Monday.com 
• Assist with collection of feedback and analysis from end users for future PMO offerings and continuous improvement. 
• Assist with socialization and training events to promote the PMO services. 
• Self-disciplined, able to work independently 
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• Ability to start immediately 
• Basic understanding of computers is a must.  
• Comfortable using Microsoft tools( Excel, Powerpoint, and Google sheets, Atlassian Suite products, Retool and Tableau 
• Basic knowledge of project management disciplines 
• Basic skills in the use of Microsoft tools 
• Basic communication skills 
• We encourage business, technology, arts majors with an interest in growing their computer skills to apply 

Nice to Have:

• Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains  
• General passion and knowledge of fintech and crypto
