Job Description
We are hiring a Finance & Strategy Manager to grow Cash App’s payments ecosystem. As an essential partner for the Cash App leadership team, you will help handle the following responsibilities. You will report to a Cash App Finance and Strategy lead.
You Will:
Manage and optimize costs associated with Cash App’s payments network partners
Conduct analysis to inform negotiations with new and existing payments partners
Identify and drive scalable cost reduction strategies that enable money movement and commerce
Build financial models to evaluate trade-offs associated with key business decisions
Drive forecasting and evaluation process for payment partners; including periodic business reviews to provide progress-to-goal visibility, developing operating/financial tools to monitor pulse of the business, and forecasting financial performance annotated with drivers of results to Cash App leadership
Collaborate with a cross-functional stakeholder group in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
You Have:
5+ years of relevant industry experience, including:
2+ years of experience in payments (experience with the payments value chain and unit economics a plus)
Excellent financial modeling skills using Excel/Google Sheets (be prepared for a spreadsheet-based case study)
Excellent communication skills, with ability to distill and tailor complex info for different audiences
Experience working with and driving consensus across functional areas
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other relevant field
