Skills Required:

Finance Management:

  • End to End knowledge of Finance – Preparation of PL, Balance Sheet, Statutory Requirements etc.
  • Global Exposure: Should have dealt with accounting and book keeping of various countries in US, Europe and Asia
  • Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and Global Accounting
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Participate in development of internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. Implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures laid out
  • Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization (Income Tax, are met and that financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation
  • Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the external auditors as necessary
  • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash. Ensure that all transactions are appropriately supported, approved and authorised
  • Have a regular meeting with the team and improve the processes, turnaround time etc.
  • Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy. Ensure that cash needs of the company are maintained and future cash
  • Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate
  • Good Communicator, “Make It Happen” attitude and should be ready to work under pressure and long hours based on the business requirements
  • To effectively manage the performance of the team by carrying out progress reviews and ensuring objectives and key outputs are effectively communicated throughout the department
  • Regular Team meetings and Feedback to the team
  • Have a good working relationships with the team and other departments.
  • Communicate effectively with team on a regular basis ensuring information is clear, accurate and timely
  • Encouraging team participation in the way information is relayed to and from the departments.

People Management and Development

MIS and Reporting:

  • Maintain financial records for each site / LOB in a manner that facilitates Management reports
  • Assist FP&A teams with the preparation of budgets by providing relevant information on a regular basis
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual departments

Proficiency in the use of computer programs for:

  • Accounting ERP like Tally, MS Dynamic’s, Axapta etc.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Budgeting Tools, Macro Writing etc. (desired)


Educational Qualification: Bachelor in Commerce / Master in Business Administration

Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant / CPA / CMA / ICWA


10 to 12 years of progressive financial responsibility
