
Head of Business Development and Sales (f/m/d)
Job Description
As Head of Business Development and Sales, you will lead and build the Sales and Business Development team to successfully establish a strong position in the Carbon Removal Market. You will own all commercial activities for Inplanet and ensure we hit relevant sales goals. You’ll bring a combination of domain expertise, creativity, hands-on mentality and the ability to drive things forward. Furthermore, you will be reporting directly to our CEO and work closely together with our BD Manager and with other teams across the organisation. You will be responsible to drive growth in the company from a revenue perspective by creating long term partnerships with B2B Customers and Carbon Removal Platforms.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Competency to develop, drive and execute the overall commercial strategy (aligned to company OKRs)
- Build up strategic partnerships with Carbon Removal buying platforms and initiatives worldwide
- Experience in managing (B2B) contracts and related processes of higher value
- Strong networking skills and ability to identify companies which are interested in becoming Net-Zero (food and agriculture sector focus)
- Strong pitching, presentations and negotiation skills (public speaking)
- Competency of understanding, analysing and presenting data and metrics
- Working experience in AgTech, Carbon Removal or Impact Start-ups is a plus
- Team leadership experience and skillset
- Excellent written and verbal English (Portuguese is a plus as well as other languages)
- Developing the above skills and competencies usually require 3-5 years+ experience in B2B sales
