
Head of Business Development & Sales
Job Description
This is the first BD / Sales position at Polybase. You will have significant impact on the direction and success of the company. This role will be challenging but the upside potential is enormous as early customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We need someone who can scale the success from small customers/developers to larger companies.
This role reports to Sid Gandhi, CEO.
Your traits
- You have closed sales and partnerships valued $100k+ in the web3 industry
- You have worked at web3 infrastructure / developer tools companies (Protocol Labs / Arweave / Alchemy / ConsenSys / etc)
- You can articulate the end user benefits of complex technical products
- You want to collaborate on projects across BD, sales and marketing
30-60-90 day expectations
- In the first 30 days, hit the ground running by completing meetings with 30 companies and signing 3 customers
- In the first 60 days, develop a sales and partnerships funnel and have 100 companies in top of funnel
- In the first 90 days, maintain a >10% funnel success rate and close 10 large paid customers
