place and help take our business to the next level!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and manage the internal IT infrastructure and workspace systems
  • Provide a responsive support for our end-user community
  • Manage requests through various touch points such as Jira, Slack, email, and in-person
  • Communicate IT service outages, upgrades, and maintenance to the end-user
  • Perform periodic system checks, upgrades, CVE patches, and hardware refreshes
  • Provision end-user devices and related accessories
  • Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory
  • Manage the office network and VPN services for local and remote colleagues
  • Actively identify potential pitfalls and implement preventive solutions
  • Work with service providers on project and BAU activities
  • Support new employee onboarding including access and equipment provisioning
  • Support employee off-boarding, including IT asset recovery and access de-provisioning
  • Automate tasks with scripting, e.g. AppleScript, bash/zsh, Python, Google Apps Script
  • Work with DevOps and infrastructure engineers on system integrations, releases and upgrades
  • Enhance operating procedures, system stability, and user satisfaction
  • Implement BCP solutions and ensure system readiness
  • Implement best practices in IT system administration
  • Implement security protocols and user training to minimize potential threats
  • Adhere to company policies and conform to regulatory requirements
  • Keep abreast of the latest end-user technologies
  • Degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in system admin and end-user technology
  • A passionate, proactive, result-driven professional with proven ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multitask, balance priorities, and handle conflicts
  • A track record of recommending and driving change
  • An excellent communicator, critical problem solver, and a great team player
  • Strong knowledge of Mac hardware and macOS management including ABM, APNs, Jamf/Kandji
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS sysadmin such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian
  • Knowledge of Linux sysadmin is a big plus
