Trade Marketing Manager
Job Description
The Trade Marketing Manager, EMEA will activate, execute, and accelerate strategic deployment of marketing strategy in the field. This role will work collaboratively with sales team members to build capacity and programming which amplifies existing success and opens new opportunities while connecting marketing team members to real-time intelligence from the field. The Trade Marketing Manager will develop strategies to improve brand adoption and product velocity in a variety of channels including distribution, retail, e-commerce and consumer activations.
The Trade Marketing Manager, EMEA will report to the Global Marketing Director and work collaboratively with EMEA sales team and global marketing colleagues across creative services, brand communications and external agency partners.
Responsibilities:
· Lead trade marketing annual planning & determine priority activities that will have the greatest impact on the end user to drive traffic to stores and conversion
· Identify promotional solutions to support in achieving our business objectives
· Develop Regional Promotional Calendar & Planning and collaborate with Sales teams
· Develop programs that will drive sell out volume with clear KPIs set that can be tracked and measured in markets
· Determine best in class execution standards as well as test & learn programs & activities
· Develop & roll out Brand and Educational Strategies & solutions in-store and online 3rd party customer websites
· Work cross-functionally to prepare fully loaded programs to be executed in market on time for new product launches
· Collaborate with internal creative services on preparing regional marketing channel-specific toolkits
· Work with sales analytics on program ROI achievements
· Maintain co-ownership of trade customer budget, including trade tools, activations and brand specific customer investment
· Measure & prioritize investment by customer with aligned internal methodology
· Working in partnership with the sales team to identify risks and opportunities to volume estimates and make recommendations on opportunities to close gaps.
· Where there are gaps in demand, work with sales team to identify most effective levers or customer activities (promotions, calendar events) to address market concerns and to manage inventory and ordering to balance supply & demand while minimizing inventory losses
· Work with sales analytics on program ROI achievements
· Working with designers, external agencies, translation/language teams, videographer/photographer agencies
· Working with global teams to coordinate efforts on asset creation in various languages
· Manage customer reviews strategy across EMEA including management of platform, responding to reviews, analysis of reviews sentiment, feeding this back to Customer Advocacy for consideration
Qualifications:
· You have a Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in the field of Marketing, eCommerce or International Business
· 4+ years in a relevant industry
· Advanced Excel skills, experience working with data analytics and visualisation tools, drawing actionable insights from big data sets
· High level of organisational and project management skills with the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
· Strong attention to detail
· Fluent English speaker with exceptional communication skills. Fluent in other European languages is advantageous.
