Business Operations and Strategy Director

This individual will also be passionate about technology, blockchain, cryptocurrencies and financial markets; and will have leadership experience in both business operations and strategy.

What you’ll work on:

• Collaborating with senior management in the development of strategic goals and long-term operational plans.
• Maximizing efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration. Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives;
• Drawing on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions in collaboration with senior management regarding operational activity and strategic goals;
• Planing, monitoring, and analyzing key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks;
• Consulting with leadership on all aspects of managing the business, including planning, staffing, and prioritization.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

• 15+ years experience in financial markets, with strong preference for leadership positions in business operations and strategy.
• 5+ years of experience leading highly performing, highly successful operational teams;
• Passion for crypto, fintech, and financial markets.
• Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
• Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
• Degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another analytic discipline (Preference will be given to candidates with MBA or Masters from recognised institutions).
• Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
