Sr. Infra Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain our trading firm’s infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have a passion for crypto technology. The Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with other members of the data team to ensure that our infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure. Additionally, you will have the ability to work under strong pressure and the flexibility to adjust your working hours depending on market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the company’s infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Manage and maintain the company’s virtualization and cloud computing environments.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of our infrastructure by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions.
• Ensure the security of our infrastructure by implementing and managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning queries, indexes, and storage configurations.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve our infrastructure.
• Create and maintain documentation related to our infrastructure, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a system outage or other catastrophic event.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Understanding of network and security protocols, including TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, SSH, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Couchbase.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
• Work effectively under strong pressure to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks
• Flexible in working hours to accommodate urgent requests and project needs
