Technical Content Writer

In this role you will create a compelling narrative for BNB Chain, working with the Head the Branding & Communications and other teams in the global Marketing organization.

You will help evolve BNB’s brand and messaging, tailor copywriting to each of our target audiences, support localization, and produce SEO-optimized and evergreen content.

Your main goal will be to increase the quality and engagement of our audience with our narrative. You’ll write for our blog, support with social media, and also co-create op-eds with our spokespersons for tier 1 publications. You will work in collaboration with the rest of the marketing team and external copywriters, as well as companies in the BNB ecosystem. The Community, Technology and Leadership teams and other companies in the ecosystem will be key stakeholders for your workstreams.

Working across multiple work streams and projects, you will be championing a user-first and data-driven mindset across content creation and social media, considering our target audiences: developers, token holders, enterprise, entrepreneurs, the press, and the general public.

The role is remote and open to candidates in the Americas and Western Europe.

Job Description

• Write high-quality technical and non-technical articles about BNB Chain and the blockchain industry 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology, ensuring that our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry
• Co-create and implement the Content strategy for BNB Chain, ensuring branding and messaging consistency across all touchpoints – and across the different entities in the ecosystem
• Create high quality and highly engaging content for our blog and websites, optimized for SEO Develop repeatable formats and evergreen contentImprove brand messaging, thought leadership, and content creation according to our target audiences through a data-driven approach
• Collaborate with the rest of the Marketing team on digital campaigns, through an SEO-driven content creation strategy
• Develop an internationalization strategy, building upon the existing focus on anglophone countries
• Work with internal and external designers, copywriters, and video makers to ensure highly engaging graphic and motion design assets are produced for our target audiences
• Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to ensure the team is well aligned with Growth and Community, and making the best use of data-driven insights
• Collaborate with team leads in Engineering, Business Development, and other entities in the BNB ecosystem to deliver relevant and consistent campaigns and User Experience
• Provide regular reports and insights to the wider Marketing team and Leadership

Qualifications

• Technical background in blockchain and deep understanding about the industry 
• 3+ year of experience in content writing in blockchain 
• Deep knowledge about BNB Chain infrastructure and ecosystem 
• Outstanding copywriting skills, and spoken English
• Experience with data-driven content creation, including SEO-driven content marketing
• Produce well-researched content for publication online
• Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within the deadlines
• Communicate and cooperate with a writing team, including content writers, editors, and web publishers
• Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure the timely delivery of materials
• Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, blogs, etc
• Monitor and analyse the performance of work to offer suggestions for improvement
• Participate in content strategy and brainstorming sessions with the wider department
• Optimise content effectiveness by using SEO best practices plus analytical tools such as Google Analytics
• Be process-driven, detail-oriented but also pragmatic and service-focused
• Competent working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
• Keep open lines of communication, collaborate with other stakeholders
• Be able to work in a remote, distributed team 
• Other European languages are a bonus
• Comfortable using decentralized Crypto software such as Metamask, TrustWallet, DEXs Liquidity Pools, etc
